Scirocco M dry powder feeder

Many dry materials are used dry, either by their end users or in further manufacturing processes. Some materials, such as cements, foodstuffs and starches change with hydration. The particle size of such materials is ideally measured dry.

The Scirocco M dry powder feeder, with its precise control of feed rate and dispersion pressure, accurate to 0.02 bar (0.002 Mpa), delivers reproducibility of sample dispersion and measurement. Its sealed balanced flow air cell ensures the minimum in sample bias and limits environmental exposure

  Dispersion Mechanism
Particle flow controlled using variable feed-rate vibrating tray.Dispersion achieved by accelerating particles within a compressed air stream, together with particle and wall collisions. Control of dispersive air pressure is provided over a range of 0-4 bar, to a accuracy of +/- 0.02bar.
 
  Operation
Manual operation. SOP operation achieved via software prompts to the user.

Metal powders, minerals, powder coatings, chemicals, dry food ingredients.
 
  Alternatives
