The Bohlin Gemini rheometers from Malvern Instruments are an advanced range of modular and compact rheometers with 'fluids to solids' capability. They are optimized for both strain controlled and stress controlled operation, can accept an extensive range of temperature control options, and have wide application in research and product development. Patented Rotonetic 2 drive technology allows the rheometer to perform strain controlled tests in steady, dynamic and transient modes, as well as all stress controlled functions.
The working torque range extends to 200 mNm and a high resolution continuous torque mapping system allows low torques to be set extremely accurately. A full range of EasySwap™ temperature controllers includes Peltier devices, a forced gas oven with optional liquid nitrogen cooling, electrical heating and a range of fluids circulators. The rheometers can be configured quickly and easily for testing on a complete range of materials and applications including polymer melts, composites, fluids and semi-solids.
Bohlin Gemini HR nano rheometer
The Bohlin Gemini HRnano is the flagship rheometer in the Bohlin range from Malvern Instruments. It follows the tradition of previous Bohlin HR (High Resolution) rheometers, offering advanced technology that is simple and straightforward in operation. It has been optimized for the control of ultra low torques enabling users to exploit this performance and open up new opportunities for probing weak or sensitive material structures and low viscosity systems.
Bohlin Gemini II rheometer
The Bohlin Gemini II possesses powerful specifications enabling a complete range of rheological properties to be assessed. The Gemini II is an advanced research level instrument ideal for users who do not immediately need the ultra sensitive measurement capabilities of the Gemini HR nano system. Modular in design, it has a wide range of measurement geometries and accessories enabling it to be easily configured to allow testing across a full range of materials and applications.
