The Viscotek RImax is equipped with a column oven for reproducible elution profile and one or two concentration detectors.
For protein and material with chromophores, the UV-Vis detector offers the best sensitivity. The RI detector offers a more versatile detection.
Combining the RI and UV-Vis allows the OmniSEC software to find compositional details.

Refractive Index Detector The accurate 3580 Refractive Index (RI) Detector provides stable and repeatable concentration measurements for GPC/SEC measurements.
UV-Vis or Photodiode Array Detector (PDA / DAD) The Viscotek RImax offers two UV options: a programmable UV-Vis detector or the unique Viscotek PDA, the first one ever integrated in a GPC/SEC system and software.
Column Oven The VE2585 column oven is specifically designed to achieve the constant column temperature needed for repeatable chromatographic elution profiles.
