As part of the company’s commitment to the field of rheology, Malvern Instruments has launched a monthly internet forum, focusing on novel or expanding areas of interest or application in this field of rheology. Live scientific seminars take place each month, delivered via the web, at which rheology experts from academia and industry present their work.
Open to all
While Malvern is the manufacturer of Bohlin and Rosand rheometers, the Rheology Forum is intended to be scientific and entirely non-commercial. Participants are welcomed from every area. Potential speakers from all backgrounds and using any equipment are invited to submit an abstract for consideration. Presenters simply deliver the seminar across the internet from their own PC.
Raising rheology’s profile
Malvern’s objective is to increase awareness of rheology and its applications, and to afford people working in new or expanding fields the opportunity to gain more exposure and recognition in a global arena. All presentations given as live web seminars are also being recorded, and will be downloadable on demand from the Malvern website, providing a long-term source of reference for presenter and audience alike.
Why sign up?
The Rheology Forum offers a great opportunity to stay up to date and hear about current trends in research and industry. All participation is free - you need only a PC and internet connection, and phone line for receiving the audio.
