Zetasizer Nano Cells
Disposable Folded Capillary Cell
One of the most exacting challenges in zeta potential measurement is to ensure the complete cleanliness of the sample cell. Even the smallest amount of contamination can dramatically affect the measured zeta potential. This problem has been solved in the Zetasizer Nano series with the development of a unique entirely disposable cell that consists of electrodes and a folded capillary, molded into a single precision measurement chamber. The cell can be discarded after a single measurement or series of experiments, or re-used where cleaning procedures are known to be effective for the application.
The folded capillary cell is central to the design and use of zeta potential measurement in the Zetasizer Nano series. Additionally, its suitability for particle size measurements allows both size and zeta potential to be measured.
Universal Dip Cell
This reusable cell can be used for zeta potential measurement in non-aqueous applications and is especially important where there is chemical incompatibility between the sample and the disposable cuvettes. The universal cell and measurement sequence have been designed to be suitable for both non-aqueous and aqueous dispersants. Size measurements are possible with the electrodes in place when using the Zetasizer Nano ZS and Zetasizer Nano S.
High Concentration Cell
This cell has been specially designed to offer the maximum concentration zeta potential measurement capability. Using this cell it is possible to measure zeta potential at concentrations up to 40%*. The design minimizes the sample volume required and the small capillary is beneficial for measurements of high conductivity samples. The cell is compatible with the Zetasizer Nano platform and is reusable as it can be easily taken apart and cleaned. The cell is easily taken apart and cleaned for reuse. Size measurements are possible when using the Zetasizer Nano ZS and Zetasizer Nano S.
