Automating Molecular Size Measurement Using the Zetasizer APS
As the popularity of Dynamic Light Scattering for the measurement of small particles and molecules such as proteins increases, so does the number of samples to be measured, and automation is the obvious answer to improve personnel productivity. One of the application areas where there are large numbers of samples to analyse is life sciences; finding suitable buffers for crystallising proteins, and studying protein stability in different environmental conditions. This presentation lists the key performance criteria for automated measurements, and demonstrates how the Zetasizer APS meets these requirements.
