Update: Global After Sales and Service Support for users of REOLOGICA Instruments; agreement with ATS RheoSystems

Malvern Instruments is pleased to announce an agreement with ATS RheoSystems (ATS) for ATS to provide worldwide service and support for users of REOLOGICA Instruments AB rheology systems. ATS RheoSystems is an independent company with 18 years experience maintaining, calibrating, and servicing REOLOGICA systems in the US and Americas.

REOLOGICA Instruments AB ceased trading on 23 March 2010, and an administrator was appointed to wind up the affairs of the business. Malvern Instruments purchased from the administrator certain assets of REOLOGICA Instruments AB but did not purchase REOLOGICA as a continuing business and did not assume any of the contractual liabilities that were formerly the responsibility of REOLOGICA Instruments AB. However, we have been seeking a solution for REOLOGICA customers needing service and assistance and we believe ATS, with their extensive experience in maintaining REOLOGICA systems in the US and Americas, will provide the highest level of support achievable in these circumstances.

The agreement concluded with ATS RheoSystems covering all aspects of service, calibration, and support for REOLOGICA instrumentation, including supply of spare parts and contract laboratory work. Malvern’s own range of rheology systems are not included in this agreement.
