Protein crystallography is an important part of the characterization of the protein structure. To crystallize a protein, the environment in which the protein is must be screened. The second virial coefficient, A2 or B22 is a measure of the protein-protein interaction as well as the protein-solvent interaction. In this presentation we will present methods of measuring A2 to predict good crystal formation.
