Malvern PANalytical has an immediate opening for an Account Manager for the Mid West region. This position is responsible for the sales of analytical equipment, as defined by Management, to achieve targeted sales revenues within the prescribed territory (as defined).

The successful candidate must possess strong technical credentials and excellent verbal and written skills. The candidate will be charged with researching, identifying, contacting, and qualifying those biopharmaceutical and academic organizations and individuals who could benefit from Malvern's instruments. The candidate must be able to meet or exceed individual goals and targets with little direct daily supervision

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physical Sciences (or equivalent work-related experience), at minimum a more advanced degree preferred.  Must be knowledgeable in customer requirements for all product offerings and must have sufficient technical knowledge/skills to effectively learn, communicate and sell the advantages/benefits of buying Malvern PANalytical Instrumentation.  Knowledge of competitive products and advanced sales strategyand tactics are required.

Excellent communications skills, an ability to work independently and be self-motivated are essential.  5+ years sales experience in technical/analytical equipment industry is strongly desired.
